LEV HASHABBAT – June 11-12, Parshat Korach!  
Yeshivat Lev HaTorah proud to announce its biggest Alumni Shabbaton yet.  The Shabbaton will be open to Alumni, Family of Alumni, Friends and supporters of Lev HaTorah.  In honor of 8 years, there will be 8 Rabbeim attending the Shabbaton!  The Shabbaton will take place Be”h in the Holiday Inn in Suffern NY.  Click here for more details! 

PURIM 5770 and Forever!!
As always Purim was an exciting time in yeshiva.  The boys enjoyed a Purim Tisch/Chagiga led by the Solomon Bros. originally from the Moshav Band.  On Purim day many boys took part in distributing Matanot L'evionim through L'Maan Achi (the community Chesed organization), as always a highlight of Purim.  The talmidim attended seudot at their Rabbeim's homes, where the enjoyed a home cooked meal and great singing divrei Torah and the Joy of Purim.  On Shushan Purim the yeshiva sent a bus to an old age home in Yerushalayim where the boys brought the Simcha of Purim to the elders at the home.  To view photo gallery, click here.

Benny’s Special Purim edition of Story Time
Although Benny's story time is always a hit amongst the children of Ramat Shilo, the Purim Edition was a smashing success drawing close to 150 children!!  Benny together with other students of Lev HaTorah put on a truly professional Purim play that entertained the children (and their parents!).  The highlight that no kid will forget, was Benny, playing Mordechai, rode on a real Live horse in front of all the kids.

Tzfat Tiyul and Shabbaton
Our Tzfat Shabbaton began with a Musical, Mystical, journey from Meron to Tzfat in the footsteps of the Arizal through the enchanted forests and streams of Nachal Amud.  The hike was accompanied by a guitar, violin, clarinet and flute which enhanced the journey immensely.  On Thursday night we had an intense kumzits with the Solomon Brothers.  Friday was a day to explore Tzfat with a guided tour by Rav Mo, Kabbala Artists, the Tzfat Cheese factory, and a Beit Hakvarot tour given by Rav Uri.  The Shabbat was electrifying, from the tefillot, Tisch, divrei Torah, and meeting Rav Shmuel Eliyahu shlit"a.  Shabbat ended off with a Seuda Shlishit never to be forgotten.  To view the photo gallery, click here.

Midbar Yehuda Tiyul
We began our Midbar Yehuda with a full day hike through the magnificent views and water pools of Nachal Prat/Wadi Kelt.
Cooling down in the great Water springs was a lot of fun and refreshing.  At night while deep in the Judean Desert over the Dead Sea, we had an unforgettable and uplifting night with "Dajus," a mix of martial art presentations, Tai Chi, a great music band - Optomystical, and a fascinating Baal Teshuva story from Yaakov Lehman, executive director of "Dajus."
Next Day we hiked through the desert before sunrise, and prayed Shacharit with the sunrising over the Dead Sea and while standing over the awesome Darja valley.  We ended our tiyul with a hike through Nachal Arugot, in the Ein Gedi reserved, swam in its refreshing springs and waterfalls and said hello to a group of Ibex.  To view the photo gallery, click here.
