3 Day Eilat Tiyul
Our tiyul to Eilat was an action packed three days, of hiking, snorkeling, scuba diving, camping out in middle of the desert, and water sports on the Red Sea, and can't forget bowling in Eilat. The highlight of the tiyul was hiking Har Shlomo at 5am, after camping out in the beautiful desert, davening Vatikin on top of Har Shlomo, and hiking down the dried of water falls of Har Shlomo. Lev HaTorah 5 km Benefit Run for L'Maan Achi
Close to 50 talmidim joined for a 5km run, from the hills of the future Ramat Beit Shemesh Gimmel, back to the yeshiva. The run was not only fun and great exercise, it also made a nice amount of tzedaka for L'Maan Achi, Ramat Bet Shemesh's local chessed organization. A big Yasher Koach to Tzvi Solomon who initiated and organized this benefit run. To view photos click here.

Blood Drive in Yeshivat Lev HaTorah
On Tuesday, Novemeber. 10th, Lev HaTorah hosted a blood drive in conjunction with Magen David Edom. The Blood drive exceeded the expected units of blood by 15 units, an accomplishment we are very proud of. The Blood Drive was open to community members who came to donate blood. Mr. Jonathan Feldstein, director of AFMDA (American Friends of Magen David Edom) ended the day with inspiring words that through this blood we potentially have saved 15 lives! Rosh Chodesh Kislev Hisvaadut
Rosh Chodesh Kislev began with a bang at Yeshivat Lev HaTorah. The Talmidim enjoyed immensely from the guest musicians, Elyon, an extremely talented unique sounding Hassidic folk band. Awards went out to boys with outstanding attendance and participation, as their names were called the other talmidim cheered with great happiness for the achievements of their peers. It was truly a beautiful way to start Chodesh Kislev and prepare for the upcoming Chanuka Holiday. To view photos click here.

The Path of the Lamed Hey
On Thursday afternoon, November 6, Lev HaTorah went back to Israel pre-state, and traced the battle of the 35 soldiers of the Palmach attempting to break the siege on Gush Etzion. We began at the starting point of the 35, not far from Yeshiva, and followed in their footsteps until the mountain where they faced their bitter end. We focused on the Mesirut Nefesh of these 35 soldiers, and the historical importance of the Palmach, and Gush Etzion. To view photos click here.
