Overlooking Har Hazeitim in the courtyard of the Diaspora Yeshiva, we had an intense pre-selichot kumzits with Chaim Dovid. The dancing was energetic and it served as a great intro to a passionate Selichot at the Kotel. The Kotel was packed with all different types of minyanim for Selichot, some singing, some screaming, some blowing shofars, it was a tru “Am Yisrael” experience. 
Rosh Hashana in yeshiva was truly unforgettable. The Tefillot led by the rabbeim of the yeshiva were extremely powerful, filled with joy, and intensity. The Beit medrash was packed with not only the first and second year boys but also over thirty alumni and members of the Ramat Shilo community. The talmidim ate all the Rosh Hashana meals at homes of Rabbeim and members of the community, the talmidim appreciated the feeling of home at the meals.
In conjunction with Ramat Bet Shemesh's chessed organization, L'Maan Achi, the boys of Lev HaTorah built over 20 sukot for single mothered families and needy families. The boys gave there heart and souls to building the sukah in the greatest way, with of course Lev ruach and a smile that brought great joy to these families. 
On Motzei Yom Kippur a group of boys from the yeshiva led by Gershy Rapp began there "sea to sea" journey, beginning at the Mediteranian finishing at the Kinneret Lake. Over 20 boys managed to complete the grueling but very rewarding and unforgettable challenge. The boys finished with a dip in the sweet waters of the Kinneret and a nice meal in Tiberias. On the eve of Hoshana Rabba a nice group of shana alef, bet, alumni and Rabbeim enjoyed a shiur focusing on Hoshana Rabba given by Rav Fass in his Sukah. Following the shiur more than a minyan of boys learnt the entire night, ending the night in a beautiful vatikin Hoshana Rabba minyan.
