Torat Chaim Seminar on the topic of “Shaatnez”
Rabbi Yaakov Gurvits, Director of the Har Nof Shaatnez Center, gave a quite captivating shiur on the prohibition of Shaatnez.   Rabbi Gurvitz took us through all the different materials used in clothing and the potentials issued of Shaatnez.  With a very “hands on”   bringing in actual clothing with Shaatnez, Rabbi Gurvitz gave us an appreciation of the prohibition of Shaatnez.  Click here to listen.

Bringing Tanach to Life – Tel Azeka and Tel Beit Shemesh
Learning Tanach is always positive and fulfilling, however  learning Tanach at the actual place the story took place in, is a different level.  We stood on top of Tel Beit Shemesh, learning about the travels of the holy ark (in Shmuel alef)  as we connected the pesukim to the land we were standing on.  The boys got a chance to find archeology and explore the caves and cisterns of the Ancient Beit Shemesh.  At Tel Azeka, overlooking a breathtaking view and learnt the story of David and Goliath.
