Hachnasat Sefer Torah in Yeshiva –
Wednesday Feb. 27th

It is the true honor of Yeshivat Lev HaTorah to house the Sefer Torah donated by Mrs. Lynn and Professor Avraham Steinberg of Shaarei Tzedek.  The Steinbergs donated the Torah in honor of their parents, Rabbi Charles and Ruth Weinberg’s 60th Anniversary!  The Hachnasat Sefer Torah was filled with Ruach, and the Lev HaTorah energy.  The Yeshiva was then zoche to hear divrei Torah from 3 generations, our Rav Yitzchak Steinberg, his father Prof. Avraham Steinberg and his grandfather Rabbi Charles Weinberg.  To view photos of this even click here.

Yeshivat Lev HaTorah Lays Foundation of Our Future Campus - Monday, January 22
In an emotional event the students along with the staff of Lev HaTorah witnessed the pouring of the first layer of cement on the future Yeshiva's campus.  Rebbbeim spoke divrei Torah and we had a "rikud" alongside the cement truck in order to infuse this momentous occasion with Kedusha.  Since then the first floor of the Yeshiva has been completed and the second floor is well underway!  To view photos of the event click here.

Super Bowl Tiyul –
Sunday, February 3 – Monday, February 4

Our Midbar Yehudah tiyul began with a beautiful hike through Nachal Arugot.  We learned about the life of King David, hiked up the desert mountains and enjoyed the fresh cold springs.  Watching the super bowl in middle of the Judean desert was quite an experience.  The next day after we all got some great sleep, we hiked up Masada and our guide Hillel Brenner took us back to the famous battles on Masada.  We finished the day off with a moving Mincha on the top of Masada.  To view photos click here.

Tzfat Shabbaton –
Thursday February 28 – Shabbat, March 1

The talmidim began their long weekend up north with ATVing through the hills of Ramot Naftali.  We saw awesome views of the Hula Valley, the snow on top of the Hermon, Har Meron and much of Israel’s North.  On Thursday night in Tzfat, Shlomo Katz inspired the Yeshiva with a Kumzits facing Meron filled with Torah, Tefilla and song.  The Shabbat was unforgettable, davening in the unbelievable shuls in Tzfat, and meeting the chief Rabbi of Tzfat Harav Shmuel Eliyahu shlit”a.  To view photos click here.
