Shavuot in Yeshiva – A True experience of Kabbalat HaTorah!!
Nothing is like Shavuot in Yeshiva.  Throughout the night the Beit Midrash was filled with a “Kol Torah”  both from Talmidim of Lev HaTorah and members of the Ramat Beit Shemesh community who joined us for Shavuot night.  Rabbi Fass, gave his annual all night shiurim, covering seven various topics throughout the night.  Shacharit started with an intense dance around the Beit Midrash and a Hallel that shook the walls, led by Rav Jake Vidomlanski.  For dinner, all the Talmidim were invited to the homes of the Ramim for a homemade meal, filled with Zemirot and divrei Torah.

Lev HaTorah: Where Medicine and Torah meet
During Kayitz Zman, a group of talmidim studied the fascinating field of “Medicine in Halacha.” The shiurim were given by our very own Dr. David Kallus a practicing Periodontist .  The shiurim included topics such as, Residency and Shmirat Shabbat, treating parents, and much more.  The Talmidim found these shiurim both fascinating and practical.

Spiritual Survival Seminars
During the final week of Yeshiva every afternoon was dedicated to special “Spiritual Survival Seminars.”  They included topics such as, campus activism, relations with non-Jews, dealing with missionaries and Bible criticism.. The seminars gave tools to our Talmidim to handle some of the issues they will face outside the walls of Yeshiva.  Thanks to Rav Asher Friedman who arranged the Seminars.
