Welcome to the first e-newsletter from Gratz College Online. We continue to lead the world of Jewish higher education with the only Master of Arts in Jewish Studies that can be completed entirely online, and now the only online certificate in Jewish Non-Profit Management.
In this, the premiere edition of our e-Newsletter, we offer a sampling of the brain-trust of the Gratz College faculty. We hope you enjoy the news and articles in this issue, which include:
- Dr. Ruth Sandberg outlines some of the many benefits of online Jewish learning through Gratz College.
- Dr. Joseph Davis answers the questions, “Is Turkey Kosher? and other Jewish Thanksgiving Questions.”
- Sheila Harkatz, a recent graduate from Gratz Online with a Certificate in Jewish Education, fulfilled all of the requirements online. Her story of leaving Argentina and then finding herself as a Jewish educator in Miami is inspiring.
- The Online course schedule for Spring 2006 are posted. Classes begin January 30, 2006. To register, send an email to me at rticker@gratz.edu and I’ll send you a registration form.
For details about Gratz Online and our degree and certificate programs in Jewish Studies, Jewish Education and Jewish Non-Profit Management, as well as other exciting happenings at Gratz College, visit www.gratz.edu. If you know of others who might be interested in receiving this e-newsletter, send me an email and I’ll add them to the list.
